360° VIRTUAL WORKPLACE

MAPPING

SEE RISK DIFFERENTLY: EMPOWER SAFETY CULTURE WITH VISUAL INTELLIGENCE

WHAT IS 360° VIRTUAL WORKPLACE MAPPING?

360° Virtual Workplace Mapping is an innovative risk and safety solution that uses specialised 360° camera and drone technology to capture immersive, high-resolution imagery of your actual workplace environment. The captured data is transformed into an interactive, cloud-based virtual walkthrough, allowing users to explore the site remotely from any device.

Within the walkthrough, hazards and risk exposures are clearly marked with interactive, clickable icons, providing users with visual context, documented evidence, and insights to make informed safety decisions, without the need to be physically on-site.

WHATS INVOLVED?

360° Virtual Mapping can be delivered as a standalone service or offered as an added feature to a risk assessment, site audit, or venue inspection, depending on your organisation’s safety objectives. Clients have also successfully integrated their virtual walkthroughs into staff inductions, contractor onboarding, and internal training, enhancing learning through immersive, real-world visuals. A certified risk and safety professional will coordinate and carry out the mapping using specialised 360° camera equipment and CASA-accredited commercial drone technology.

Mapping sessions are arranged in advance and can be conducted during normal operating hours, though optimal results are achieved when foot traffic is minimal. For privacy, all individuals captured in the footage are blurred, and our assessors wear high-visibility uniforms clearly marked ‘Risk and Safety Survey’. After capture, your environment is brought to life through post-site programming, where interactive safety, hazard, and training information is embedded directly into the walkthrough. You will receive a secure, cloud-hosted link to access your mapped site, with the option to enable password protection for added privacy and control.

WHY IT MATTERS? BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN DIRECTORS AND THE FRONTLINE

360° Virtual Mapping supports stronger safety governance by giving directors and senior leaders a true-to-life view of workplace risk without needing to be physically present. This improves:

  • WHS Due Diligence Compliance: Directors can demonstrate active engagement in understanding operational hazards.

  • Board-Level Confidence: Visual access fosters confidence in the organisation’s risk controls and safety performance.

  • Stronger Decision-Making: Leaders make better decisions when they fully understand the environments in which their teams operate.

  • Operational Trust: Frontline teams benefit from knowing that leadership is genuinely connected to the realities of their work environment.
